Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero's son a fan of Kylian Mbappe

Neymar says he is staying at PSG this season, but Shaka Hislop explains how Kylian Mbappe's rise could affect the Brazilian's future.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has revealed his son is a huge fan of Paris Saint-Germain teenager Kylian Mbappe.

Aguero was asked by a supporter on Instagram who his son Benjamin's favourite footballers are.

Surprisingly, Benjamin, the grandson of Argentina legend Diego Maradona, did not choose Argentina compatriot Lionel Messi or current Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal.

Instead, the nine-year-old is a big admirer of France forward Mbappe after the World Cup, as well as his father's Manchester City teammate and Spain international winger David Silva.

Mbappe, 19, scored four goals, including two in a 4-3 win against Aguero's Argentina, to help France win the World Cup and was named as the Best Young Player at the tournament in Russia.

"Benja always liked David Silva and now he is talking a lot about Mbappe," Aguero posted on Instagram. "He likes players who treat the ball very well."

Aguero and Mbappe met last week while on holiday in the Spanish island of Ibiza and the latter posted a photograph on Twitter of the two together.

Aguero's club teammate and France international Benjamin Mendy was quick to respond asking the Argentinian to do his part and convince Real Madrid target Mbappe to join them at City.
