Hazard, Fabregas, Icardi star as football celebrates international Selfie Day

You probably don't need us to tell you that today is international Selfie Day, and many of the football world's great and good have already been quick to share their celebrations.

Inter Milan were among the first to mark this most of momentous of occasions with a little help from Mauro Icardi.

Chelsea then weighed in with a few choice picks from their archive, with Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas featuring prominently.

Not to be outdone, the Chelsea Women also shared a collection of their finest selfies.

West Ham let new record signing Issa Diop do the honours.

Ever the merry jokers, Bayern Munich adopted a meme for their celebratory effort.

Last but by no means least, Man City took us back in time to the moment Fabian Delph was completely unable to distinguish between a photograph and a video.

Good times. Kevin De Bruyne howling out in sheer, astonished disbelief at his totally silent teammate never fails to raise a chuckle.

Of course it goes without saying, but here's wishing a very merry Selfie Day to you all!

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
