Colombian singer Maluma posts defiant message after hotel room reportedly robbed

Colombian singer Maluma posted a defiant message on social media after reportedly having $800,000 worth of valuables stolen from his hotel in Russia.

According to police sources, the 24-year-old Reggaeton star had jewellery, watches, glasses and luggage stolen from his room at the Four Seasons Hotel in Moscow while watching Colombia lose to Japan at the Mordovia Arena in Saransk

However, refusing to have his World Cup experience sullied, Maluma posted an upbeat update on Instagram.

"MY HAPPINESS AND ESSENCE... No one can take it," the pop star said while sat cross-legged on a roof.

Mi FELICIDAD y ESENCIA... Nadie se la puede llevar! ✌🏻

The TASS news agency reported that an individual was given a duplicate of the electronic key card in order to enter Maluma's room and relieve him of his belongings.

While further details are scarce, Reuters have confirmed that an internal investigation into the incident is now underway.
