Turkish fan hires crane to watch Denizlispor match
One intrepid Turkish fan conjured up an ingenious scheme to circumvent his stadium ban and watch his beloved Denizlispor side in action at the weekend.
Having been given a one-year ban from the Denizli Atatürk stadium for a previous misdemeanour, the chap in question went to the lengths of hiring a cherry-picker in order to "attend" his team's second-tier match against Gaziantepspor.

The crane was clearly visible over the perimeter wall as the lone fan cheered and chanted along with the rest of the home support.
Unfortunately, as reported by the Bir Gun website, the party was soon pooped when the local police arrived on the scene and forced the fan to lower his crane and leave the area.
Denizlispor went on to win 5-0, thus hauling themselves three points clear of the relegation zone in the process.
