Manchester City's Benjamin Mendy celebrates Marseille win in Europa League
He may be a Manchester City player these days but Benjamin Mendy still spent his Thursday night roaring on former club Marseille in the Europa League.
The Ligue 1 side overturned a 1-0 deficit from the first leg of their quarterfinal against RB Leipzig in stunning fashion, rampaging to a thrilling 5-2 victory at the Stade Velodrome.
Just like the rest of the L'OM fans around the world, Mendy was unable to contain his joy after the final whistle.
👀 Looks like @benmendy23 🦈 got that #FridayFeeling started a little early this week. Use just ✌️ emojis to show us how you celebrated #OMRBL in the replies. ⚪️🔵 pic.twitter.com/Cg1UwiDbiW

Marseille's win must have come as a welcome tonic for Mendy, who saw his City team get knocked out of the Champions League by Liverpool a couple of days ago.
Still, the French full-back found time to congratulate the Reds on Twitter and wish them well with the rest of the tournament.
Seems like a good egg, does Ben.
