Watch Cristiano Ronaldo get kiss from pitch-invading Portugal fan

Following a red card for Portugal's Joao Cancelo, a few fans caused an additional delay when they eluded security to greet Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo got to meet a few of his fans during Portugal's friendly defeat on Monday night -- up close and personal.

Portugal were already trailing Netherlands 3-0 in Geneva, Switzerland, when a number of Ronaldo's admirers jumped the barriers and ran out to meet their idol in the middle of the pitch.

The first man to reach him even tried to plant a kiss on the superstar's cheek, before promptly being ushered away.

Two other men followed, and while Ronaldo kindly introduced them to security, he was not exactly in the mood for visitors.

Monday's friendly was a relatively low-key affair, but we'll see if anyone is daring enough to try another attempt at the World Cup this summer. Perhaps Morganna the Kissing Bandit would consider coming out of retirement?
