Pop star Rihanna takes in Arsenal win at the Emirates

Pop star Rihanna took in Arsenal's 5-1 win over Everton.

Arsenal have no shortage of celebrity followers: Prince Harry, Mick Jagger, Jamie Foxx, Lewis Hamilton and noted Gunner critic Piers Morgan to mention a few. On Saturday, another celebrity showed up at the Emirates: Rihanna.

The nine-time Grammy-award-winning recording artist was spotted in the stands at the Emirates and later went down into the players' lounge to pose for pictures with some of the London club's stars.

The artist picked a good day to check out the Gunners in person, as a new-look Arsenal "shined bright like a diamond" in a 5-1 win over Everton. The Barbadian singer is no novice when it comes to football either, as RiRi is a noted German national team supporter and was in Rio de Janeiro to cheer Die Mannschaft on to victory against Argentina in the 2014 World Cup final.

And clearly she has a fan in Mesut Ozil...

NBA All-Star and fellow Arsenal supporter Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers recently said he was over his crush on the pop singer, but does the fact that she's a fellow Gunner change things? We'll have to ask Embiid about that one.

Either way, the singer looks to have enjoyed her visit to the Emirates, and lucky for her, she didn't even need an "umbrella, ella, ella, eh."
