Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United: but what about his dogs?
Alexis Sanchez and his beloved dogs are heading to Manchester -- but where will Atom and Humber play?
With the Chilean set to seal a big-money move to United, we've ranked the best areas his Labradors can roam free.
Prestwich Forest Park
Offering 200 hectares of woodland and green open space, Prestwich Forest would certainly get Atom and Humber's tails wagging with plenty of opportunities to explore and, as an added bonus, plenty of sheep to interact with. It would also be good for Sanchez, too, with the winding trails described as a "quiet oasis" on Tripadvisor. "A lot of people don't know it's there" says a reviewer -- certainly ideal for a Premier League superstar looking to keep a low profile.
Fletcher Moss Park
This picturesque botanical garden is located just 20 minutes' drive from Manchester United's training ground at Carrington, and its sheer beauty will make Atom and Humber want to have a sniff around. But with the park easily accessible by public transport, the amount of selfies and autographs Sanchez and his dogs will be asked for will leave them hot under the collar.
The grounds of this Georgian manor house would be a leafy wonderland for Atom and Humber. Whether they will be jumping for joy at encountering the many deer that reside there is another matter -- they certainly would not have encountered the giant antlered creatures in London before.
If Sanchez wants to keep a low profile, he would be barking mad to bring Atom and Humber here -- he would be recognised instantly as Alexandra Park is close to his new Old Trafford home.
So there we have it, a whole host of places for Sanchez to pick from -- and prepare yourself for his big move north by reading how his switch to United is not just about money.
