Gyan joins Essien, Ronaldo and Maradona with dodgy statue tribute
Asamoah Gyan has become the latest Ghanaian star to have a statue unveiled, after former national teammate Michael Essien received the same honour last week.
The sculptor who did Michael Essiens statue, has designed one for Ghana skipper Asamoah Gyan.

The handiwork of a local artist, Essien's decidedly dodgy tribute was placed on display in Kumasi a few days ago and quickly attracted derision from across social media.
Now, the very same sculptor has returned with a similarly angular homage to the Black Star's all-time leading goalscorer.
It would appear that we truly are living in a golden age as far as awful football statues are concerned, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Diego Maradona both receiving equally objectionable commemorations.
Question is, which one is worst?
