Wijnaldum, Coutinho and Liverpool stars enjoy themselves at Christmas party

After a 4-0 victory over Bournemouth on Sunday,  Liverpool players celebrated by hitting the town for their Christmas party.

The Reds flew back to Merseyside from the south coast before reconvening at Formby Hall where the festivities duly commenced.

Georginio Wijnaldum certainly seemed to enjoy himself, gleefully singing his own song with a little help from Jordan Henderson and Joe Gomez.

After scoring an absolutely superb solo effort at the Vitality Stadium earlier in the day, Philippe Coutinho took time out to mingle in what might well turn out to be his last Christmas bash as a Liverpool player.

Indeed, the Brazilian forward managed to grab a raft of selfies with teammates Albert Moreno, Jon Flanagan and Roberto Firmino.

Quite what Firmino is wearing is beyond us, but we'll let him off because it's Christmas.

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
