Pulisic and McKennie put rivalry aside over Thanksgiving dinner

The rivalry between Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 has long divided families and turned friends into foes. It is the biggest in German football; "us against them." You are either Schwarzgelb or you are Konigsblau.

On Saturday, free-falling hosts Dortmund are in desperate need of three points against their rejuvenated guests from Gelsenkirchen. Without a doubt, emotions will fly high at the Westfalenstadion.

But, two days before the showdown, a pair of young Americans on opposite sides of the rivalry got together to enjoy a tradition from home: Christian Pulisic and Weston McKennie, as well as BVB forward Alexander Isak, celebrated Thanksgiving together, showing that what happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch.
