Ex-Arsenal star Lukas Podolski meets sumo icon Hakuho Sho
If his social media output is anything to go by, Lukas Podolski is loving life out in the Japan at the moment.
The striker joined J-League side Vissel Kobe over the summer and has since hit the ground running, scoring five goals in his first 12 appearances.
The former German international is also enjoying himself off the pitch as well, spending his free time taking in all the sights and sounds that his new home has to offer.
Indeed, Podolski took in his very first sumo match over the weekend, even posing for a photo with superstar Hakuho Sho, widely regarded as one of the finest sumo wrestlers of all time.
Originally hailing from Mongolia, Hakuho recently smashed the individual record for the most ever career wins by emerging victorious for the 1048th time.
