Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard enjoys kickabout with baby

He's not even six months old yet and Steven Gerrard's infant son Lio is already being primed to follow in his father's footsteps.

The ex-Liverpool captain shared a video of himself enjoying a kick-around at home with his baby boy, who looked ever so slightly bemused by the whole thing.

A post shared by Steven Gerrard (@stevengerrard) on

As you might have heard, Gerrard also recites the famous Andy Gray commentary that accompanied his spectacular long-range strike against Olympiakos in the 2004 Champions League.

"Oh you beauty," the 37-year-old can be heard whispering. "What a hit, son!"

Gerrard is currently employed as head coach of the Liverpool Under-18s side so there's every chance this clip may eventually end up being included in a scouting dossier too.

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
