Man United's Marouane Fellaini takes face-smashing ball vs. Real in stride

Marouane Fellaini is known for his physical play, sharp elbows, gruff demeanor and ability to go highest for any and all balls in the air.

We also know that the Man United midfielder is not afraid to laugh at himself after he "went highest" for one he'd probably like to have back in his team's 2-1 UEFA Super Cup loss to Real Madrid on Tuesday.

Kudos to AP photographer Boris Grdanoski for capturing the image of Fellaini's face seemingly moving in every direction under the sun after he took one to the noggin during the match and a tip of the hat to the Belgium international for his self-deprecating response on Twitter.

This was one that was truly worthy of the reigning champion of bizarre facial expressions and Fellaini's teammate at Old Trafford, one Phil Jones.
