Behind the scenes of Tottenham star Dele Alli's new ad for BT Sport

Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli tries his hand at rugby, NBA, boxing, UFC and cricket in a new ad for BT Sport, which debuted in the UK on Thursday evening.

England and Spurs midfielder Alli is seen taking a crunching tackle from rugby star Maro Itoje and does his best to avoid a knockout in the octagon as Gareth Bale looks on and laughs.

The fun and frolics don't end there though, oh no. Indeed, we were granted a special behind-the-scenes look at just how BT Sport managed to piece Alli's painful advert together.

With cameras rolling, the Tottenham star was exposed to beatings, haymakers, broken bones and spinning elbows -- all in the name of sporting entertainment.

Bedecked in white shorts and resembling his iconic pugilist namesake, Alli prepares to go 12 rounds in the ring.

He may float like a butterfly on the pitch, but the only thing that will be stinging is the deep bruise left on his chin.

This one we call The Fellaini.

After such an "ordeal," we think Alli might be happy to get back to his day job when the new Premier League season kicks off next weekend!
