Man United's Zlatan Ibrahimovic compares himself to a lion
What do Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the king of the jungle have in common?
Of course the Manchester United striker was eager to answer that question on Wednesday, when he took to Instagram to give his online peeps a sneak peek of the big Swede's recovery regiment from a serious knee injury suffered in the Europa League this season.
Sporting a six-inch scar on his visibly swollen right knee, a barefooted Zlatan appears laser-focused as he hones his already immaculate touch with both feet, perfectly lobbing balls back to an off-screen helper as another films an apparent ad for A-Z Sportswear.
The caption: "The touch will never disappear. Lions don't recover like humans."
There it is.
Having never wounded a lion ourselves, we'll have to take the former Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan and PSG (did we miss one?) man on his word here.
But one thing's for sure: The big man's still got it.
Get well soon, Ibra.
