Karel Espinosa's Cristiano Ronaldo impersonation fails spectacularly
Cuba defender Karel Espinosa got a little carried away while trying to copy Cristiano Ronaldo's set piece technique during a recent CONCACAF Under-17 Championship game against the United States.
Standing over the ball roughly 40 yards out, Espinosa cut a Ronaldo-esque figure as he prepared to unleash a thunderous shot on goal.
Unfortunately, the young centre-back caught it a little too cleanly and promptly sent the ball sailing clean out of the stadium.
While Espinosa's accuracy was totally and unarguably awful, the power and range he managed to achieve were actually very impressive.
Indeed, maybe he should seriously consider a career switch to the NFL?
