Verratti, Matuidi, Meunier and Draxler left red-faced as Barca stun PSG

The ESPN FC crew discuss Barcelona's remarkable victory over Paris Saint-Germain.

Hindsight can be a cruel mistress, as Paris Saint-Germain's Marco Verratti, Blaise Matuidi, Thomas Meunier and Julian Draxler all found out the hard way on Wednesday evening.

Fresh from powering to a 4-0 win over Barcelona on home soil, the PSG quartet gathered to discuss the second leg over a pizza supper -- and unfortunately for them, the conversation was filmed and posted on YouTube.

The patter, while perfectly polite and respectful, saw the PSG players utter some truly fateful remarks.

"We're gonna have to hold firm. I'm calling it. The first 20 minutes, it's going to be tough," the foursome say between themselves.

"I think we'll make it this year. We're already four goals ahead. Yes -- four goals."

For the record, it took Luis Suarez less than three minutes to score Barca's first goal of the evening on their way to a truly remarkable 6-5 aggregate victory.

As we said, hindsight can sting like hell sometimes.

Chris covers the funny side of the game for ESPN FC in the Toe Poke blog.
