Man City, Benfica open Pokemon Go gyms, Vancouver "catch" new signings
As we've already seen, the football sphere has been quick to embrace the Pokemon Go craze that is quickly taking over the entire world. The game involves using your smartphone to wander around and capture various Pokemon who pop up here and there in augmented reality -- or something like that.
To those ends, Benfica have become one of the first major clubs to open a Pokemon gym in the concourse area outside their stadium, with the club museum serving as the central hub.

This all came a matter of hours after Manchester City set up their very own Pokemon gym at the Etihad stadium, inviting fans to come down and while away the hours pitting their little critters against one another.
