Marco Reus and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in rap video

It's no secret that Borussia Dortmund stars Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marco Reus get on well both on and off the pitch.

Reus has demonstrated that again by appearing in a rap video for a song, "Aubameyang" -- that is dedicated to the African Player of the Year. It is performed by Aubameyang's brother Felix, a musician who goes under the name Ghost St., and much of the video is filmed outside Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park and in a nightclub.

The tune is simple, cheesy and catchy enough, though we're not sure the lyrics will be tripping off the tongues of Dortmund fans.

To give you a sample:

"Black and Yellow, it's not Versace, Versace, Borussia Dortmund. We arrive in the club. Golden watch, golden chain, golden ball. Everything's golden, brother.

"We're not sheikhs. Us, what we want to do is to sign cheques."

"Hit the top corner, Aubame-bang-bang."

(Chorus): "Enjoy the sound of victory... we're not just passing through, we want to go down in history." And in English: "You can watch my name -- on the wall. Happy New Year -- golden ball. Aubameyang! Make some noise. Every weeks (sic), three goals."

The chorus is easy enough though, so altogether now: "Aubame... Aubame, Aubame... Aubameyang!"
