Belgian keeper's laughable gamesmanship in South African top flight

The following footage is taken from a recent South African top flight game between Maritzburg United and Golden Arrows, in which Maritzburg 'keeper Glenn Verbauwhede provides an absolute master-class in completely baffling gamesmanship.

In what was presumably an attempt to get Golden Arrows' strikers reprimanded, booked and then eventually sent-off, the big Belgian began simply and routinely hurling himself at his bemused opponents.

With the ball at his feet, Verbauwhede repeatedly goads the striker into charging at him before sweeping the ball into his hands and diving full-length into his victim -- only to then begin feigning injury himself.

For the purposes of perspective, it's also worth noting that Verbauwhede is 30-years-old. Madness.
