Arsenal keeper Petr Cech has Chelsea gloves delivered to former club

Petr Cech
Petr Cech's gloves went missing this week, just days before the former Chelsea keeper meets his old club with Arsenal.

Even though he's been at Arsenal for seven months it's understandable that most people still associate Petr Cech with Chelsea.

More surprising is that Adidas don't seem to have registered the goalkeeper's recent change of work address.

The sportswear manufacturer sent Cech's new gloves to Chelsea's Cobham training ground rather than Arsenal's London Colney base this week, just days before the two teams face off in a crucial Premier League clash at the Emirates.

Fortunately for Cech, honest Chelsea staff ensured that the error was corrected and their club legend received his new gloves in plenty of time for Sunday's match, when Arsenal will bid to keep their noses in front of Leicester City and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

Cech has been one of the signings of the season and broke the all-time Premier League clean sheets record last month. Chelsea staff might rue their integrity if the 33-year-old uses his new equipment to add to his total on Sunday...
