Having spent his entire footballing life to date at his boyhood club, departing Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is currently in the process of upping sticks for the first time in his career as he prepares to make his summer move to LA Galaxy.

Thankfully, to help dampen the culture shock, Gerrard has been offered a bit of timely travel advice from a slightly unlikely source in the shape of affable US actor and star of Jurassic World, Chris Pratt.
Chatting to Match of the Day magazine, Los Angeles resident Pratt was asked if he had any words of wisdom to offer MLS-bound Gerrard as he prepares to leave Merseyside for a new life in sun-drenched California.
"I tell you what, Steven, if you're coming to LA, once you get there you're going to see a ball of fire in the sky. Do not be alarmed. It's called the sun," joked the Guardians of the Galaxy star.
"It's not going to kill you. It's just going to mean great weather all the time. Enjoy yourself, buddy. Look me up when you get there and I'll buy you a drink."
Asked if he had any further tips for a Scouser about to decamp to LA, Pratt added: "Is he pasty? Yeah, you're going to need a lot of sun block!"
