Ref accidentally breaks player's nose during Dutch amateur game
Here's one you don't tend to see every day.
Over in the Dutch amateur leagues this weekend, referee Wim Bronsvoort accidentally floored Barendrecht player Mitchell van Gastel during the latter stages of his side's Topklasse tie against Scheveningen on Saturday afternoon.

Indeed, according to Dutch news outlet Omroep West, referee Bronsvoort's unwitting clothesline left Van Gastel nursing a broken nose, with the midfielder having to be stretchered from the pitch to receive medical attention.
In fact, Van Gastel's little whoopsie instantly brings to mind one of Toe Poke's most cherished footballing memories: the day Robbie Savage was laid out by the flailing arm of referee Matt Mathias...
