Newcastle exile Ben Arfa organises own "meet & greet"

Already black-listed by the club, stripped of his squad number and barred from attending any of the first-team pre-season training camps over the summer, Hatem Ben Arfa has now been informed that he will be not be welcome at Newcastle's upcoming open signing session for fans at St James' Park thanks to an ugly and ongoing spat with manager Alan Pardew.

Peeved at the snub, Ben Arfa has taken it upon himself to organise his very own "meet and greet" session with fans which the Frenchman is planning to hold on the very same day (August 12) as the official event.

What's more, Ben Arfa has chosen to stage his unofficial "meet and greet" at a football memorabilia store, The Back Page, which is situated less than two minutes' walk from Newcastle's stadium, where the first team will be busy conducting their session.

Fans are invited to come along and meet Ben Arfa at 6pm, with the exiled winger apparently having a few things, possibly Pardew-related, that he would like to get off his chest!
