It's not often we dip into futsal here on Toe Poke but we definitely feel that the goal we're about to show you is well worth the temporary excursion into the strange, disorienting and often confusing world of five-on-five.
The hero of the hour is a man known as Marcio, who plies his trade for Copagril Marechal Rondon of Parana in Brazil. Marcio scored what proved to be a truly spectacular consolation goal in his side's 2-1 defeat against Jaragua.
With the goalkeeper bowling the ball downfield at him, Marcio connected with an outrageous half-volleyed back-heeled lob from distance that flicked impudently up and over the Jaragua keeper before tucking in sweetly beneath the crossbar.
SporTV (via The Guardian) managed to catch up with Marcio to ask him about his masterstroke, to which he replied: "I was fortunate to catch the ball well, scoring a great goal. It is certainly one of the best goals of my career."
On that evidence, we'd love to see his top five!
