Former Germany keeper Tim Wiese looks like a bodybuilder

Wiese's international prospects have diminished since joining Hoffenheim from Werder Bremen in the summer

It's not uncommon for footballers to fall spectacularly out of shape after retiring from the game, but former Werder Bremen and Germany goalkeeper Tim Wiese has proved that it is possible for ex-pros to go the other way and actually get themselves into better shape after hanging up their boots -- should you happen to consider "a vast, nebulous bulk of tattooed meat" to be a better shape, that is.

Photos of Wiese, who was released by Hoffenheim back in January, have been circulating on social media over the past few days, showing the 32-year-old former Germany international swaddled only in a towel and proudly displaying his new bodybuilder-like physique in front of his mirror at home.

Wow.
