Faouzi Ghoulam to Liverpool
Ghoulam is fast becoming one of the most talked about players in Europe -- and now the in-demand Napoli left-back is being linked with a move to Liverpool in January. Jurgen Klopp is keen to recruit defensive reinforcements having missed out on Virgil van Dijk in the summer and has reportedly identified the 26-year-old as a key target. Contract negotiations between the player and his employers have stalled, which has put several clubs across Europe on red alert. The Algeria international is out of contract next summer, so Napoli may be tempted to cash in before he can leave the club for free.
Sergi Roberto to Manchester City
Manchester City are considering paying the release clause of Barcelona utility player Sergi Roberto. The 25-year-old's clause is a modest £35.7million and Pep Guardiola, who gave Roberto his debut at the Camp Nou, wants to bring him to the Etihad. The player can operate in either of the full-back positions or in central midfield and would be a useful option for Guardiola as he looks to clinch a first Premier League title. However, Roberto has featured heavily for Barcelona this season and the club are ready to hand him a new contract.
Ramires to Inter Milan
Inter are keen to bolster their midfield options in January and are targeting former Chelsea star Ramires. The Brazilian is with Chinese club Jiangsu Suning, who share owners with Inter, leading the Italian media to surmise that a deal may be straightforward. Inter boss Luciano Spalletti has already approved the signing, which would see the 30-year-old move to the San Siro on loan until the end of the season. Ramires is reportedly open to returning to Europe and a deal could be finalised in November, when the Chinese Super League ends.
Anthony Martial to Barcelona
Barcelona may test Manchester United's resolve with a sizeable bid for in-form winger Martial. The Frenchman has been back to his best in recent weeks but with Jose Mourinho still reluctant to hand him a guaranteed starting place, Barcelona are watching his situation with interest. Martial has started just one Premier League match this season and the Catalan giants may tempt the 21-year-old by offering him regular starting opportunities. Arsenal target Martial is also being touted as a long-term replacement for Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates.
Andre Silva to Barcelona
Barcelona sent a scout to watch the AC Milan striker during Portugal's 2018 World Cup qualifying win over Andorra on Saturday. According to Mundo Deportivo, director Robert Fernandez kept a close eye on Silva, who set up Cristiano Ronaldo's opener before adding the second to keep Portugal's hopes for automatic qualification alive. Although the 21-year-old only joined Milan from Porto in the summer, Barcelona are thought to be accelerating their search for attacking reinforcements following injury to Ousmane Dembele. Silva has scored four times in the Europa League this season but is yet to find the net in Serie A.
