Jonny Williams to Birmingham City
Birmingham City are weighing up a bid for Crystal Palace midfielder Williams, who is on a season-long loan at Sunderland. Williams was sent to the Black Cats on loan after failing to nail down a place in the first team at Selhurst Park and his relatively bright start to the season has attracted Birmingham's attention. The Blues could make a swoop for the 23-year-old in January, with Palace open to the idea of letting the Wales international leave on a permanent basis.
Alberto Gilardino to Crystal Palace
Palace could turn to veteran Italy striker Gilardino as the club's desperate hunt for goals continues. Roy Hodgson is believed to be considering a move for Gilardino, who is a free agent after leaving Pescara in the summer, following the injury to Christian Benteke. The 35-year-old, who was part of Italy's World Cup winning side in 2006, has made over 600 career appearances for a host of clubs, scoring 226 goals. He also won the Champions League with AC Milan and could represent an attractive short-term fix up front for Hodgson.
David Brooks to Liverpool
Sheffield United's attacking midfielder Brooks is a target for Liverpool according to reports on Sunday. The 20-year-old has impressed for the Blades this season, having joined the club in 2014 after being released by Manchester City's academy. Everton target Brooks has shot to prominence recently after an outstanding performance in the derby against Sheffield Wednesday, while he earned his first Wales call-up last week.
Ryan Sessegnon to Tottenham
Tottenham have stepped up their interest in rumoured Manchester United target Sessegnon. The 17-year-old, who is considered to be one of the leading young talents in the Championship, is valued at an eye-popping £50 million by Fulham and has drawn comparisons to Gareth Bale, who started his career as a left-back. Mauricio Pochettino has two excellent options at left-back in Danny Rose and Ben Davies, but the Tottenham coach is believed to view Sessegnon as the perfect long-term replacement for the former, who is expected to leave at some point in the future.
Danny Ings to Leeds United
Liverpool striker Ings is a target for Leeds. The 25-year-old has endured a horrid time at Anfield with various injuries and has understandably fallen down the pecking order, but Leeds are reportedly ready to swoop for him in January, believing that he could hold the key to their potential Premier League return. Leeds are fifth in the Championship table, four points behind leaders Cardiff, and are keen to get every bit of help possible to earn promotion. Ings scored 21 goals in 40 appearances when he last played in the Championship for Burnley during their promotion campaign of 2013-14.
