Spinetta's Cup-winning pizza recipe

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina -- For fans of Latin American music, the late Luis Alberto Spinetta is a rock god. On Friday, I met up with his son, Dante, a famous and Grammy-winning musician himself, to talk about the family's deep love for soccer. Dante has two kids of his own now, and they are both musically talented, too, carrying on the family tradition.

"It's difficult to carry a last name," Dante said, "but it's a blessing. Because we have to be proud of it, like we are proud of the Argentine team. We have to handle that pressure. I'm trying to make them feel safe and secure about themselves. That's what my father and mother taught me: believe in yourself."

His father also taught him how to cook, including the dish his dad made many years ago when they watched Argentina win the 1986 World Cup as a family. Since we're doing recipes here, I got Dante to give me his father's pizza recipe.

Make this today and eat it while watching Argentina play Sunday.

Spinetta's pizza recipe (makes two pizzas)

The dough

- Wheat flour (2 lbs.)

- Water (2 cups)

- Salt (pinch or two)

- Oil (3-4 tablespoons)

- Yeast

Mix ingredients and knead dough, then leave it in a bowl and cover it with a cloth for 40 minutes to rise. Roll very, very thin.

The sauce

- Natural tomatoes cut (two big)

- Onion, chopped (one)

- Minced garlic (lots)

- Pizza spices (paprika, oregano, black pepper)

- Olive oil (two big spoons)

- Smashed almonds (3 tablespoons)

The cheese

- Fresh mozzarella (pound)

- Parmesan cheese on top of the mozzarella (as much as you want)

After the pizza is done, put a bunch of chopped parsley
