Video: Neil Lennon gives SPL medal to young fan
Just as he did when Celtic won the newly Rangers-less SPL at a canter last season, manager Neil Lennon once again gave away his championship medal to a young Bhoys fan in the crowd during the trophy presentation at Celtic Park last weekend.
Lennon handed his trinket over to 11-year-old Celtic superfan Jay Beatty, who has Down Syndrome and is something of a celebrity around the place, with the little chap's eyes lighting up at the phenomenal gesture.
Georgios Samaras (who had just played his final game for the club, scoring a penalty in a 3-1 win over Dundee United) then put the cap on things by moseying over to Jay, plucking him from the crowd and carrying him around the pitch as 50,000 Celtic fans cheered him on his lap of honour.
Consider your heart-strings tugged and your cockles well and truly warmed!
