Rodriguez's generous bonus if Colombia win World Cup

James Rodriguez has been setting the World Cup alight this summer following his performances for Colombia

Currently leading the Golden Boot race and attracting droves of new fans on the back of a thoroughly impressive World Cup, the James Rodriguez love-in is very nearly at critical mass.

However, proving that he's not only a class act on the field, the 22-year-old forward has gone and pledged a huge bonus to the staff at the restaurant he owns in Portugal if- - and only if -- Colombia successfully manage to win their next three games in Brazil.

Rodriguez has reportedly vowed to reward each of the 11 employees of his Anchor Violet restaurant with a €5,000 (£4,000) lump sum if Colombia go all the way and win the World Cup!

Just for the record, Monaco winger Rodriguez apparently apparently invested in a stake in the Lisbon eatery along with several of his friends during his Porto days.

Lovely stuff.
