Captain Shukor Adan led by example as his late header earned Felda United a hard-fought 1-0 win over a resilient Melaka United in the Malaysia Cup on Friday night.

With both teams winning three each of their previous six encounters, this was always likely to be a closely fought affair.

Felda, who had won four of their last five games in all competitions, almost took the lead through a beautiful team effort involving Lutfulla Turaev, Forkey Doe and Zah Rahan Krangar in the fourth minute.
