Chelsea striker Diego Costa is a solid choice to be a fantasy captain this weekend.
Chelsea striker Diego Costa is a solid choice to be a fantasy captain this weekend.

The first six games listed below start at the same time, allowing managers a look at announced lineups before the week locks. International matches took their toll on several players and will impact team selection.

Saturday, Nov. 22

Chelsea (9-2-0) vs. WBA (3-4-4)

The undefeated Blues seem unstoppable with Diego Costa's (10.1) 10 goals in nine games played. He and Cesc Fabregas (9.9), with nine assists and a goal, were held out of Spain duty, but both are expected to play. Eden Hazard (9.6)...

Fantasy Follow-up: Week 11

The ESPN FC panel discuss Arsenal's need for a new mentality in the dressing room, Real Madrid's current form, and the New England Revolution vs Liverpool allegiances.

Outstanding performances

Sergio Aguero, Manchester City (10.1)

He is single-handedly keeping Manchester City in the title hunt, with his brace salvaging a point at Queens Park Rangers. The Argentine has hit 12 goals in 11 games -- and not surprisingly he's the leading fantasy player with 73 points.

Shane Long, Southampton (5.5)

The well-travelled Irishman found the net for the first time this season to open the scoring against Leicester and he followed that up with a second.

Daryl Janmaat, Newcastle...

Manchester United record buy Angel Di Maria appears in the lineup for the second consecutive month, though it may surprise some that Hull City midfielder Mohamed Diame can also lay claim to that same accolade. Everton defender Phil Jagielka is in the team this month, having been on the bench for September.

Fantasy Preview: Week 11

In Saturday's Premier League action, Liverpool host league leaders Chelsea.

There will be 10 matches played over two days with one chance to see announced lineups before the week locks: Liverpool-Chelsea.

Saturday, Nov. 8

Liverpool (4-2-4) vs. Chelsea (8-2-0)

The Reds lost in midweek to Real Madrid. Injured Daniel Sturridge (9.8) will miss his eighth straight game. Overpriced Steven Gerrard (9.2) had limited minutes in midweek and has only two goals. Raheem Sterling (7.8) has gone five games without a goal. Mario Balotelli (8.2) is on an eight-game rot.

Eden Hazard might have missed a penalty midweek in the Champions League, but his form is as sharp as ever.

Chelsea managed...

Halloween horrors: The Premier League fantasy players to avoid

ESPN FC's Mark Donaldson highlights a position that is often overlooked and in doing so chooses his top picks for defenders this week.

It's only fitting that on Halloween, the focus of our fantasy attention turns to the players who, to put it bluntly, have had a horrible time of it this season.

There's a multitude of reasons for their lack of performance -- injuries, loss of form, suspensions and the like -- but the one thing these men have in common is that, despite commanding high transfer fees, they have all produced low scoring figures.

The first of three nightmare...
