ESPN FC's Stewart Robson looks at the fantasy impact of Adam Lallana, Leonardo Ulloa and Peter Crouch ahead of some easy fixtures for them in the weeks ahead.

Fantasy success is not earned by short-term planning and knee-jerk transfers. Working to the fixture list is just as important as picking by player names alone. Players might hit form, but if their team is about to go into a tough run of matches, then there's less chance of getting a return.

But the the fixtures don't always provide the full picture. If a team has a great run of fixtures, it might not mean they have a player worth trading in....

Ten matches will be played over three days with one chance to see announced lineups before the week locks: Liverpool hosting Everton.

Fourteen Premier League teams played in midweek Capital One Cup games. Winners: Southampton, Stoke, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham, Newcastle, Swansea, and WBA.

Losers: Arsenal, Everton, Sunderland, Crystal Palace, and Hull.

Notable: Liverpool won an incredible 14-13 shootout against Middlesbrough.

ESPN FC's Mark Donaldson highlights which midfielders could add valuable points to your squad this weekend.

It goes without saying that the key to any successful fantasy team is to have the season's consistent, top-scoring players. The likes of Branislav Ivanovic (24.6 percent ownership), Cesc Fabregas (34.1 percent), Raheem Sterling (47.5 percent), Aaron Ramsey (22.6 percent), Diego Costa (41.5 percent) and Wayne Rooney (26.2 percent) all have high levels of ownership and are likely to continue scoring well throughout the season.
