Immobile scores four to top this week's edition of Player Power Rankings

ESPN FC's global editorial desks nominate their top weekend performers. Lazio's Ciro Immobile struck four times on Saturday to top our list.

1. Ciro Immobile | Lazio

Why he's here: Immobile notched four goals as Lazio defeated SPAL 5-2 on Saturday to leapfrog Roma in Serie A's top four.

2. Eric Lichaj | Nottingham Forest

Why he's here: The Illinois-born full-back scored both of Forest's goals from open play as they upset Arsenal 4-2 in the FA Cup third round.

3. Virgil van Dijk | Liverpool

Why he's here: In his first match for Liverpool after becoming the world's most expensive defender, Van Dijk became a part of club folklore by scoring a late winner over Merseyside rivals Everton on Friday.

4. Lionel Messi | Barcelona

Why he's here: Barca's No. 10 scored one and assisted on another as the Catalan giants eased to a 3-0 win over Levante on Sunday.

Ciro Immobile scored four times on Saturday as Lazio defeated SPAL 5-2.

5. Kylian Mbappe | Paris Saint-Germain

Why he's here: A brace and a pair of assists for Mbappe as PSG were rampant in a 6-1 destruction of Rennes on Sunday.

6. Bas Dost | Sporting Lisbon

Why he's here: The 28-year-old Dutchman scored a hat trick against Maritimo on Sunday -- his second three-goal game this season.

7. Harry Kane | Tottenham Hotspur

Why he's here: Spurs took a comfortable 3-0 FA Cup win over Wimbledon on Sunday courtesy of a brace from Kane.

8. Sergio Aguero | Manchester City

Why he's here: The Argentine scored twice in 94 seconds to overturn a 1-0 deficit and send City on their way to a 4-1 win over Burnley on Saturday.

9. Ilkay Gundogan | Manchester City

Why he's here: Vital to Aguero's tallys were Gundogan, who registered assists on both goals in arguably his best performance in a Man City shirt.

10. Guido Carrillo | Monaco

Why he's here: The 26-year-old forward scored a hat trick as Monaco took a 5-2 win over Yzeure in the Coupe de France on Saturday.

Also receiving votes: Joaquin (Real Betis), Diego Costa (Atletico Madrid), Neymar (Paris Saint-Germain), Maxwel Cornet (Lyon), Cristian Tello (Real Betis).
