Icardi single-handedly decides Milan derby to top Player Power Rankings

ESPN FC's worldwide editorial desks nominate their top performers from the weekend's action. Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi is this week's No. 1.

1. Mauro Icardi | Inter Milan

Why he's here: The Inter captain scored the opener in the Derby della Madonnina before replying to a pair of equalisers to net a hat trick in Sunday's 3-2 win over AC Milan.

2. Ciro Immobile | Lazio

Why he's here: The 27-year-old scored a brace in a span of seven minutes as Lazio fought back from a goal down to upset Juventus 2-1 on Saturday.

3. Thomas Meunier | Paris Saint-Germain

Why he's here: PSG continued their march to Ligue 1 supremacy after right-back Meunier delivered both goals in a tense 2-1 win over Dijon on Saturday.

4. Kevin De Bruyne | Manchester City

Why he's here: Stoke manager Mark Hughes said De Bruyne is "head and shoulders" above the rest of the Premier League after the Belgian assisted on a pair of goals and orchestrated Man City's 7-2 win over the Potters.

5. Nabil Fekir | Lyon

Why he's here: The Lyon captain scored two and assisted on another as he led his side to a 3-2 win over reigning Ligue 1 champions Monaco on Friday.

Why he's here: De Gea made five saves, including a spectacular stop with an outstretched foot, as Man United settled for a 0-0 draw at Liverpool on Saturday.
