TOP STORY: Arsenal, Chelsea tracking Zaha
Arsenal and Chelsea have been boosted by the news that Wilfried Zaha appears unwilling to commit his future to Crystal Palace.
That's according to The Sun, which believes the 29-year-old is waiting to see where the Eagles finish in the Premier League at the end of the season before making a final decision on any new deal.
Zaha is a free agent at the end of the season and is therefore free to speak to foreign clubs in January. Not surprisingly, Palace are keen to extend his contract so as to avoid losing him for nothing in the summer. However, Arsenal and Chelsea have both been linked to the former Manchester United winger and are hoping they can convince him to cross London instead.
Palace have offered Zaha a new deal, but he is yet to put pen to paper. He is reportedly earning £130,000-a-week, and if he re-signs he would not only get improved terms but would likely see him stay at Selhurst Park for the rest of his career.
Zaha is aware of the interest from other clubs and may feel he has unfinished business when it comes to proving his worth at the highest level.

22.25 GMT: David De Gea is willing to take a pay-cut to extend his contract at Manchester United, according to the Athletic.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper is currently on a deal worth £375k-per-week, but soon to enter the final six months of his deal in January, Erik ten Hag's side are now looking at ways to secure his future at Old Trafford. Recent reports have suggested that talks over a new contract will commence during the World Cup.
21.57 GMT: In Manchester United news, the Red Devils have been keeping an eye on Marcos Leonardo in recent weeks, but he is not a priority signing for them at this time, reports Sky Sports Germany.
The 19-year-old Santos forward has scored 11 goals in the Brasileiro Serie A this season, and that has seen him attract attention from clubs in Europe. While the Premier League club are in the market for a striker, the latest suggests that they won't be moving quickly to land the Brazil youth international.
21.35 GMT: Clubs in the Premier League are monitoring Boulaye Dia, understands Gazzetta dello Sport.
West Ham, Nottingham Forest, and Leeds have all been linked with the 25-year-old Salernitana forward, who has contributed to seven goals in eight starts this season. Dia is currently on loan at the Serie A club from Villarreal, and it is reported that they have the option to make the move become permanent for £10.3million.
20.59 GMT: Napoli are set to begin talks with Piotr Zielinski as they look to secure him to a new contract, writes Nicolo Schira.
Luciano Spaletti's side see the 28-year-old Poland international midfielder as a key part of the club's project, and they will look to reach an agreement that improves his current terms that expire in the summer of 2024. He was recently on the radar of West Ham United.
20.23 GMT: Internazionale are hopeful of signing Milan Skriniar to a new contract, understands Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from the San Siro this season amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain, though the Serie A club are looking to end any uncertainty by securing the centre-back to a new long-term deal. He will enter the final six months of his contract in January.
19.50 GMT: Contact has been made by Juventus as they look to land Alvaro Odriozola, writes Foot Mercato.
The 26-year-old right-back has been unable to garner regular minutes for Real Madrid despite an impressive spell with Fiorentina last season, and he could now be set to return to Serie A with the Bianconeri keen on his signature. He has made no appearances for Carlo Ancelotti's side this season.
19.30 GMT: Arsenal are weighing up a move for Orlando City star Facundo Torres, reveals the Telegraph.
The Gunners are set to back Mikel Arteta in January as they look to bolster the squad in the Premier League title challenge, and the latest indicates they have identified the winger as a key target.
Torres, 22 years old, contributed to 17 goals in 34 MLS appearances last season.
18.40 GMT: Facundo Buonanotte is set to join Brighton Hove Albion on a permanent deal.
The 17-year-old attacking midfielder has been a priority target for the Premier League side in recent weeks, and the latest announcement by his club Rosario Central has confirmed that full agreement has been reached.
18.10 GMT: Internazionale are keen on Alan Matturro, reveals Calciomercato.
The Serie A side have identified the 18-year-old Defensa Sporting centre-back as a potential target in January, and they have the option to activate his release clause of €6million. His contract is set to expire in the summer of 2024.
17.20 GMT: Atletico Madrid are interested in Ilkay Gundogan, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The 32-year-old midfielder's future at Manchester City is currently uncertain as he nears the final six months of his deal at the Etihad Stadium, and it looks as though early interest is beginning to surface in LaLiga. He has made 10 Premier League appearances this season.
16.39 GMT: Manchester United are planning to trigger a clause in Diogo Dalot's contract to avoid him leaving as a free agent next summer, The Sun reports.
Portugal international Dalot's current deal expires at the end of the season and he is being monitored by both Barcelona and AC Milan, where he spent the 2020-21 season on loan.
However, United have the option of extending his stay at Old Trafford by a further year if they want, using a clause in the deal the 23-year-old signed when he joined the club in 2018.
Dalot has started all 12 Premier League games this season under Erik ten Hag, and the club are eager to secure his long-term future.
14.43 GMT: Liverpool's form this season has led to plenty of talk about Jurgen Klopp's future (see 08.00 GMT.) Would a clean break between the manager and the club be the best option for both?
Stewart Robson feels Jurgen Klopp may need to leave Liverpool and take a break from football before coming back with a different club.
14.26 GMT: Clubs interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham next summer could have to pay a transfer fee as high as £130m, The Sun reports.
England international Bellingham has been linked with interest from European champions Real Madrid and Premier League giants Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.
The 19-year-old is under contract at the Westfalenstadion until 2025, having moved there from Birmingham City in 2020.
If Bellingham ends up moving to a Premier League club for the fee that Dortmund want for him, it would make him the most expensive player ever in a transfer involving an English club.
13.23 GMT: Barcelona great Andres Iniesta is doubtful over the possibility of his former teammate Lionel Messi returning to the club in the future.
Messi, 35, is out of contract at the end of the season, his second year in the French capital, and there have been reports of extending his deal with PSG or even a sensational return to Barcelona for the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner, while Inter Miami continue to be linked with a move that would bring him to MLS.
"I see it difficult for Messi to return to Barca, but I am not Leo or Laporta and I cannot predict what may happen in the future," the former Spain midfielder told AS. "He has to like it, and see if he could give himself the opportunity."
12.38 GMT: ESPN's Gab Marcotti believes that Chelsea manager Graham Potter inherited an unbalanced squad when he took the job shortly after the summer transfer window closed.

11.51 GMT: Toni Kroos has said he still has not decided whether he will retire or extend his Real Madrid contract next summer.
Kroos, 32, has been in some of the best form of his career this season, helping Madrid to top LaLiga and their Champions League group.
"I feel very good physically, I'm very happy," Kroos said in a news conference on Tuesday. "I'm calm. It's funny, sometimes I read things [about my future] but even I don't know what's going to happen. I've said I'll think about it next year, or now during the [World Cup] break. Then I'll try to decide what I want to do."
Kroos joined Madrid from Bayern Munich in 2014 and has won four Champions Leagues and three LaLiga titles during his time in Spain.
"I've always said that I won't go anywhere," Kroos said. "I won't change clubs. I'll retire here. The only thing I don't know is when. I don't know what I think. We'll see next year, but the club and I are calm... We'll talk in January, February, or it could be March. Don't get nervous, because I'm not!"
11.07 GMT: Juventus midfielder Juan Cuadrado does not know if he will continue with the Turin giants beyond next summer.
The Colombia international, who has made 16 appearances for Juve this season, becomes a free agent next summer.
The 34-year-old, who joined Juve from Chelsea on a permanent transfer in July 2017, said: "I'm always very happy to be here. I feel as though [Juventus] is my family, a club where I've spent the majority of my professional career. I'm very grateful to Juve.
"But I just look forward, do the best I can for the team and we will see what happens in the future."
10.23 GMT: Chelsea midfielder Jessie Fleming has signed a two-year contract extension, the club have announced.
Canada international Fleming's previous deal had been due to expire next summer, but she has now committed herself to Emma Hayes' side until 2025.
The 24-year-old has won two Women's Super League titles, two FA Cups and the League Cup since joining Chelsea in 2020, and played a key role in winning Olympic gold for her country last year at the Tokyo Games.

09.46 GMT: Former Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui will take over the vacant coaching position at Wolverhampton, according to COPE radio.
Lopetegui, who turned down the option to coach Wolves in 2016, was sacked by Sevilla on Oct. 6 after a poor start to the campaign. Wolves dismissed Bruno Lage on Oct. 3 and have not named a replacement.
The ex-Real Madrid, Spain and FC Porto coach has reportedly agreed to guide Wolves after taking a few weeks off for personal reasons following his departure from Sevilla.
If confirmed, it will be Lopetegui's first coaching experience in the Premier League. Wolves are 19th in the Premier League with only two wins from 13 games.
09.09 GMT: Real Madrid and Manchester City are set to send scouts to watch 16-year-old Palmeiras forward Endrick in Wednesday's game against Fortaleza, sources have told ESPN Brasil.
PSG and Barcelona have also been linked with the youngster, who is not allowed to make a big European move until he turns 18 due to FIFA rules. Though Endrick can still sign a pre-agreement before then.
08.52 GMT: FC Porto have reached an agreement to sign Pachuca midfielder Luis Chavez, according to Mediotiempo.
The Mexico international will join the Portuguese giants after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. FC Porto have monitored Chavez since the start of the year and he has had a great season, helping the club win the Liga MX Apertura title.
Chavez, 26, joined the club from Xolos de Tijuana in July 2019.
08.18 GMT: Villarreal forward Nicolas Jackson is being pursued by three Premier League clubs, according to The Daily Mail.
Jackson, 21, has three goals in 19 games this season and the Senegal U20 international has been linked with Barcelona in recent days.
However, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Everton are also on his trail as his contract ends in the summer of 2023.
08.00 GMT: Jurgen Klopp's agent has insisted the Liverpool boss has "no intention" of resigning despite his side's difficult start to the season.
Liverpool's 2-1 loss against Leeds United at the weekend was their fourth Premier League defeat of the season, two more than they suffered throughout the whole of the previous campaign.
They sit ninth in the table and trail leaders Arsenal by 15 points, but Klopp's representative Marc Kosicke has said the German manager is determined to see out a transitional period for Liverpool rather than quit.
"I can assure that Jurgen Klopp has no intention of resigning from Liverpool FC," Kosicke told Sky Sports. "The fact that problems could arise this season due to the past intensive season was taken into account by the club's owners before the start of the season.
"Jurgen enjoys the backing of the people in charge and is in regular contact with them. He loves the club, his team and the fans and is determined to continue and successfully complete the transition in Liverpool. He didn't extend his contract until 2026 for nothing."

- Arsenal are interested in signing Orlando City winger Facundo Torres, according to the Mirror. The Gunners are top of the Premier League, but may need reinforcements as Bukayo Saka limped off in the 5-0 win against Nottingham Forest. Torres has impressed in Major League Soccer ever since arriving from Penarol at the start of the year. The 22-year-old Uruguayan has scored 13 times and added 10 assists in all competitions, helping Orlando City win the U.S. Open Cup.
- Benjamin Pavard is emerging as a potential option for Barcelona at right-back, according to Sport. The Bayern Munich star has so far decided against extending his contract with the Bundesliga champions, which runs out in 2024, and prefers to consider his options. Despite signing Hector Bellerin in the summer, Barca are still on the lookout for a regular starter in the right-back position, and Pavard would certainly fit the bill. The 26-year-old is a World Cup winner with France and perennial trophy winner at Bayern, so he has the right pedigree to succeed at Camp Nou. The stumbling block, however, could be the fee Bayern ask from any would-be suitors.
- Man United have been linked with Norwich City star Max Aarons many times before, but The Sun is once again suggesting that the Red Devils are making a move for him, this time in the January transfer window. Erik ten Hag has made no secret of his desire to add another right-back to the squad to add competition for Diogo Dalot, and United are one of eight clubs currently scouting the 22-year-old Aarons. He has made 19 appearances for the Canaries this season, as they sit in fifth place in the Championship. Norwich rejected a loan bid by Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer.
- Armando Broja is being courted by a number of clubs in Italy, including AC Milan, but Calciomercato believes he is close to committing his long-term future to Chelsea. Speaking in a news conference on Monday, the striker explained that he has no desire to leave Stamford Bridge and instead suggested he would relish a long-term contract to keep him in west London. "A new and long contractual agreement at Chelsea is a huge opportunity for me and my family," said the Albania international. "This is the club where I was born. I want to keep trying to improve myself both as a person and as a player."
- Rani Khedira, brother of Germany legend Sami, is leaning towards an extended stay at Union Berlin amid interest from Barcelona, according to Sky Sports Germany's Florian Plettenberg. The journalist believes that while Barca aren't pushing the player for a move, the Spaniards are one of many clubs interested in making a bid for the 28-year-old. However, the bad news for his would-be suitors is that he seems to favour a stay at Berlin, with preliminary talks having already taken place.
