Toe Poke Daily: Harry Redknapp becomes UK garage star for the day

The Toe Poke Daily is here every day to bring you all the weirdest stories, quirkiest viral content and top trolling that the internet has to offer, all in one place.

JUMP TO: Lingard signs young fan's forehead | Sarri is 'finally' happy with Ronaldo | Ramsey talking Italian | Arsenal's bruised banana

If you were wondering what Harry Redknapp is up to these days, you may be surprised to learn that the former Tottenham manager is now something of a big celebrity in the UK.

Ever since he won the ITV show "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here" at the end of last year, he has very much been living up to that billing.

It's fair to say there's little chance of a return to football management as he travels the country making personal appearances, and TV show concepts are thought up just for him.

However, he now appears to be making random appearances at music festivals too.

Redknapp ambled on stage to join UK Garage stars DJ Luck and MC Neat during their set at SandFest 2019 on the beach on Sunday in Poole, Dorset.

He then proceeded to "duet" (albeit very quietly) on the duo's classic 1999 hit "With A Little Bit Of Luck."

The crowd were absolutely lapping it up in the sunshine. And why not.

Here, we take a run through some of the many things Redknapp has been up to.

Lingard signs young fan's forehead!

Manchester United are enjoying the sights and sounds of Australia on their preseason tour.

Plenty of young United fans are queueing up to meet their heroes and get their autographs. But one young fan decided he wanted something a little different.

Jesse Lingard made his way down the line signing shirts and footballs until one little lad asked him to sign.... his forehead! Lingard duly obliged but there's one question that needs answering: was it a permanent marker?

Sarri is 'finally' happy with Ronaldo

Maurizio Sarri has got to work with Juventus after a successful, but stressful, year in the Premier League with Chelsea.

It means that Sarri has, for the first time, had the chance to put Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo through his paces.

But it seems Ronaldo and his teammates struggled to get into gear so early in the summer.

Sarri can be heard to groan "Ooooh, ora mi piasce," or "Ooooh, finally," as Ronaldo is involved in a slick move of passes.

Ramsey shows off his language skills

Aaron Ramsey has wasted no time ingratiating himself to Juventus supporters by beginning his maiden press conference in Italian.

The Welshman, who signed for the Bianconeri from Arsenal on a free transfer this summer, was officially unveiled on Monday and did so in his new native tongue.

"I would like to tell you how happy I am to be here at Juventus, one of the greatest clubs in the world," Ramsey said, before joking: "Sorry for my Italian, it's not very good, but I am studying hard!"

Not that we're experts, but it sounded pretty impressive to us. And, quite rightly, the former Arsenal star looked chuffed to bits with his performance!

Arsenal's bruised banana

With the similarly retro-themed home kit released earlier this month, Arsenal have officially unveiled the accompanying away kit that they will be wearing for the 2019-20 season.

The yellow kit is heavily inspired by the Gunners' iconic alternate strip worn in the early 1990s, which subsequently became known as the "bruised banana" design among fans.

According to the blurb, it's hoped the new kit will motivate Arsenal's current crop to "strike out for a new era of domination" by harking back to the double-winning side (FA Cup and League Cup) of 1992-93.

We shall see...
