The Chicago Bulls had a unique way of heralding the upcoming NBA season, just 10 days away -- by posting a photo of the world's best No. 10 on their social media.
Even if that No. 10 isn't that kind of baller.
The Bulls are gearing up by counting down on Twitter. And on Monday, they handed a special jersey to an unlikely fan: Barcelona and Argentine star Lionel Messi.

Of course, this isn't the first time that Messi has stepped out in Chicago colours, having taken Hulk, his gigantic dog, for a walk this past August while wearing his favourite Derrick Rose replica jersey.
We're not sure whether it is a sign that Messi is planning a second career, or if it shows the Barcelona star's eternal reverence for the team that Michael Jordan made famous, but one thing is for certain: Messi is officially a Chicago Bulls fan -- no switching allegiances now.
