Roberto Martinez lauds 'beautiful' Belgium after Bosnia win

Manager Roberto Martinez hailed "beautiful" Belgium after his side's 4-0 defeat of Bosnia-Herzegovina in World Cup qualifying on Friday.

Martinez's men romped in Brussels through goals from Eden Hazard, Toby Alderweireld and Romelu Lukaku as well as a Bosnia own goal.

And the former Everton boss was pleased with his team's performance afterward.

"This was a really good game," Martinez said, in quotes reported by Sporza. "Not only is the score beautiful, but we have also played quite attractive football at times.

"It gives me even greater pleasure that we have kept a clean sheet. The intensity was right for the whole game. The players remained focus and that gives me great pleasure.

"The first goal has turned the match. It was good, but it can and should be even better."

Martinez called Lukaku's miss of a well-worked move "a shame."

"Only Lukaku's miss was a shame," Martinez said. "The score was beautiful and the play was attractive.

"We played with intensity that denied the Bosnians possession even when they tried to change up their game."
