Robert Lewandowski has given Bayern Munich a fitness boost ahead of their Champions League quarterfinal second leg with Real Madrid by returning to training on Sunday.
Bayern meet Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday and go into the game trailing 2-1 from the first leg in Munich.
Lewandowski, 28, was sidelined for that match due to a shoulder injury, while he was also forced to sit out the 0-0 Bundesliga draw with Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.

However, the Poland international is in contention for the return game against Madrid after resuming Bayern training.
"I'm fine. I'm very pleased I was able to take part in training today. Everything's OK," Lewandowski told Bayern's official website following the session.
