Bayern's Boateng out for Darmstadt clash; Martinez, Robben, Ribery fit

Carlo Ancelotti has said Jerome Boateng has been ruled out of Bayern Munich's Bundesliga game against Darmstadt on Sunday through injury but Javi Martinez, Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery are all fit and available.

League leaders Bayern travel to face bottom-of-the-table Darmstadt before hosting RB Leipzig, who are level on points at the top with the Bavarians, on Wednesday in Munich.

"Boateng felt some pain after suffering a pectoral injury on Thursday," Ancelotti said at his prematch news conference. "Boateng won't be fit for Sunday, but we'll check him out next week to see if he can be ready for Leipzig."

The trio of Robben, Martinez and Ribery all sat out team training on Thursday, working instead individually on their recovery in the club's performance centre.

But Ancelotti said: "They were tired yesterday, but they all trained well today and will be ready for Sunday."

Ancelotti's sights are set on the weekend trip to Darmstadt, rather than facing their nearest challengers Leipzig next Wednesday in the final game before the winter break.

"We are all focused on Darmstadt," he said. "We know it's a very important game. We have trained well this weekend and I'm confident that we will play well on Sunday."

Ancelotti also said that winning the Bundesliga title is his main priority this season.

"Every competition is important to us," he said. "Obviously, we want to win all three trophies -- the league, the DFB Pokal and the Champions League."

But asked if he had to choose between winning the domestic title or European club football's top prize, Ancelotti said: "This season, the Bundesliga."
