Paul Pogba has 'outstanding abilities' - Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman

Kingsley Coman says Paul Pogba is the France star he would most like to play alongside for Bayern Munich, telling Sport Bild: "He's fantastic."

Coman, 20, was part of the France squad that reached the final at Euro 2016 last month, featuring for the host nation alongside players including Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann, West Ham's Dimitri Payet and Pogba, who joined Manchester United from Juventus this summer for a world-record fee.

Asked which of his France teammates he would most like to see at the Allianz Arena, Coman replied: "If I were to choose a player, I'd love to have Pogba for Bayern. I'd like that, he's fantastic."

Coman, who spent a year alongside Pogba at Juve after leaving Paris Saint-Germain in 2014, said the midfielder can justify his £87.3 million (€105m) price tag, not least because of his commercial value to United.

"Paul has outstanding abilities as a player, he's a fantastic midfielder, but it's not only about his performances on the pitch but also what happens off it," he said. "Pogba has an unbelievable marketing value.

"Paul sticks in the people's memory. He has a huge marketing value for Manchester United."

Coman was included in the France squad after an impressive debut season with Bayern in which he made 35 appearances in all competitions and contributed six goals and 12 assists.

He came off the bench in the Euro 2016 final as France were beaten 1-0 by underdogs Portugal after extra time.

"It's still hard to look back on that match," he said. "I did not want see anything or read about it. That match was the biggest disappointment of my career by a mile. A Euro final in your home country. When does that happen? It was a unique chance in my career."

However, the 20-year-old, currently on a two-year loan from Juve that is due to be made permanent shortly, has already enjoyed significant success at club level.

He won Ligue 1 twice as well as the Coupe de la Ligue with PSG, a Serie A title and the Coppa Italia with Juve, and last season secured a domestic double with Bayern.

He said the silverware he won with Bayern meant the most to him, explaining: "I contributed more to it than to the previous titles."
