Bayern Munich can cope with post-Euro 2016 fatigue - Arjen Robben

Arjen Robben has said he believes Bayern Munich will be ready to make a strong start to the Bundesliga season despite fears that some star players could be tired after Euro 2016.

Winger Robben told German newspaper Bild he was confident the champions could cope.

Bayern begin their preseason schedule next week without players including Germany's Manuel Neuer, Mats Hummels and Thomas Muller and Portugal's Renato Sanches, all of whom are still playing for their countries in France.

But Robben said: "We are all used to playing a lot of games, including the players who are at Euro 2016 at the moment.

"I am confident that they will all be ready once the Bundesliga kicks off, and I do not have any fears of a potentially difficult start to the season."

Bayern's league campaign begins with a home match against Werder Bremen on Aug. 26.
