Robert Lewandowski hits 30 goals to become 2015-16 Bundesliga top scorer

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski finished as the Bundesliga's 2015-16 top scorer after netting in Saturday's 3-1 win over Hannover, becoming the first non-German to reach 30 goals in the process.

Lewandowski, 27, opened the scoring in the 12th minute to become the first player with 30 goals to his name in a Bundesliga season since Dieter Muller netted 34 in 1976-77.

The Poland international finished ahead of Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who scored 25 goals this campaign.

Lewandowski won the Torjagerkanone, the trophy for the league's top scorer, in 2014 when 20 goals were enough in his final season for Dortmund.

Bayern, having already wrapped up a fourth straight Bundesliga title, will now turn their attention to the DFB Pokal against Dortmund on May 21 in what will be Pep Guardiola's final match in charge before he takes over at Manchester City.
