Bayern's Arjen Robben yet to return to training as DFB Pokal final looms

Arjen Robben has still not resumed full training at Bayern Munich amid growing concern he could miss next weekend's DFB Pokal final.

Robben, 32, has been out of action since early March when he last featured for Bayern in the 0-0 draw at Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern have not yet ruled Robben out of the German cup final against BVB on May 21, but he had to train individually on Wednesday and time is running out for the Netherlands international to prove his fitness.

"The Dutch winger is recovering from a hamstring injury," a brief fitness update on FC Bayern's official website read.

Bayern midfielder Xabi Alonso, meanwhile, is set to miss the final Bundesliga match of the season against already relegated Hannover 96 on Saturday.

The 34-year-old former Real Madrid star sustained bruised ribs in their title-winning 2-1 defeat of Ingolstadt last weekend, and joined Robben for training in the performance centre.

"He is still struggling with pain," Bayern said.

Regardless of the result on Saturday, Bayern have enjoyed their third best season in Bundesliga history in terms of points amassed.

Pep Guardiola's side have secured 85 points going into the final game, leaving them just short of the record 91 points they claimed in 2013 during Jupp Heynckes' final campaign.

They secured 90 points the following term in Guardiola's first season.
