Bayern Munich CEO dismisses questions over Pep Guardiola training

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola will give everything during his final months in Germany, CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said amid questions about Guardiola's training methods in German tabloid Bild.

On Friday, Guardiola -- who confirmed in December that he would leave Bayern at the end of the season with the Premier League his intended destination -- takes his side to Hamburg in the first of a maximum of 27 games left with the Bundesliga champions.

Carlo Ancelotti will replace Guardiola at the Allianz Arena, and Bild suggested the Catalan would take it easy during his final few months in Germany with his side clear at the top of the table and on course for a fourth successive league title.

The paper published a "diligence ranking" of training sessions by Bundesliga clubs up until last Sunday in which Bayern were ranked 14th having held 15 sessions, seven less than Werder Bremen but one more than Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern's Jerome Boateng commented after a friendly defeat at Karlsruhe, in which he was sent off, that Bayern were "not ready" for the Bundesliga restart.

But Rummenigge told Sport Bild: "Our coach Pep Guardiola is responsible for training sessions, and we have full trust in him.

"Those who know Pep know that he lives in the here and now and is seeking a perfect end to his time at Bayern. Our goal is to win the Bundesliga title, and by that achieve something no other team has achieved -- to win the championship in four consecutive years."
