Arsenal will see 'real' Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena - Arturo Vidal

Arturo Vidal has warned Arsenal they will face the "real" Bayern Munich on Wednesday, telling Bild: "We will score from our chances this time, and keep the three points."

Bayern have seen their 100 percent records in the Champions League and Bundesliga end in the last fortnight, going down to a 2-0 defeat at Arsenal on Oct. 20 before being held to a 0-0 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday.

Bayern had failed to take advantage of a number of clear chances in their game at Arsenal, while at Frankfurt they had enjoyed 74 percent of the possession but struggled to open up a packed home defence.

Both Bayern boss Pep Guardiola and Vidal had put Friday's result down to Frankfurt adopting highly defensive tactics, with the Chilean saying: "Frankfurt pulled all 11 men back to the edge of their own box. That makes it almost impossible for any team to score."

However, Vidal said Bayern would show their quality as they seek a first home win over Arsenal since 2005.

"On Wednesday, we'll show Arsenal the real FC Bayern," Vidal said. "Our confidence is high. We will score from our chances this time, and keep the three points."

The German champions remain top of Group G, level on points with Olympiakos, but will face an Arsenal side determined to secure a positive result after losing their opening two group games.

Bayern keeper Manuel Neuer said Arsenal may adopt a more defensive approach than they had in the first leg, while defender Jerome Boateng said the home side must be on their game if they are to get back to winning ways.

"We have to regenerate now and do better against Arsenal," Boateng said. "Arsenal pulled everyone back at their place and I guess it'll be pretty much the same again."

Arsenal drew 1-1 on their last visit to the Allianz Arena in March 2014 and won 2-0 in March 2013, but on both occasions Bayern progressed to the Champions League quarterfinals on aggregate.
