David Alaba won't rush back from injury for Bayern Munich too quickly

Bayern Munich full-back David Alaba says he is taking things one step at a time on his way back from injury.

Alaba, 22, tore knee ligaments in November, but he has now resumed training and is closing in on a return to action.

However, the Austria international says he will only play again when he is 100 percent certain that he has recovered fully from his injury.

"We want to give it a bit of time,'' Alaba told a news conference. "I'm feeling really good and it's been a good return to training. It's a great feeling to be back again and I'm delighted.

"It's important for me to be able to train without any problems, and I've not had any sessions yet in which I've been throwing up."

Alaba could be in line for a comeback in Bayern's first Bundesliga game after the winter break against Wolfsburg on Jan. 30.
