Toni Kroos drops Premier League hint

Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has revealed that a move to the Premier League could be a possibility in the summer.

Schaaf: Bayern break another record

Kroos, 24, is currently contracted to Bayern until 2015, but despite having been offered a new deal worth eight million euros a year, he has yet to commit himself to the club.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Germany international, and have reportedly already made him a contract offer.

Kroos has put all talks regarding his future on hold until the summer, but did recently say that he wanted it to be sorted before the World Cup.

And speaking at a news conference ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League last-16 second leg against Arsenal, he reiterated that he will not make a decision before the end of the season, but did hint that a move to England could well be possible.

“A lot of things have been written. But not a lot has changed,” he said. “No decision has been made, and no agreements have been reached.

“It’ll stay like this until the summer, then a decision will be made. It is no secret that the Premier League is an interesting league.”

Kroos went on to drop another hint that Old Trafford could be his next destination.

Asked whether he could join a club that will not play in the Champions League next season, which seems the likely outcome for United, he replied: “A lot is possible.”
